Who we are

Bread ("Bread," "we," "us," or "our") is a service that automatically monitors flight prices after you book and gets you a refund when prices drop. Our website is savebread.ai. For questions about this policy, contact us at support@savebread.ai.

What information we collect

From Google / Gmail: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a token that allows us to search your Gmail inbox. We use this token only to search for airline booking confirmation emails from known airline senders (United, Delta, American Airlines, Southwest, JetBlue, Alaska Airlines, and others).

From your booking confirmation emails: We extract flight details including airline name, flight number, route, departure date, fare class, ticket number, price paid, and passenger count. We store this information to monitor prices and calculate savings.

We do not:

• Read, store, or process any emails other than airline booking confirmations
• Access your Google contacts, calendar, Drive, or any other Google services
• Store the full content of any email — only the structured flight data we extract
• Access emails from before you connected Bread, beyond a 7-day initial scan window

How we use your information

• To identify flights you've booked and monitor their prices
• To notify you by email when a price drops
• To calculate and display your total savings in your dashboard
• To improve our email parsing and price monitoring accuracy

How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored in a secure database hosted by Netlify on industry-standard infrastructure. Access tokens are stored encrypted. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@savebread.ai — we'll process your request within 24 hours.

Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with:

• Service providers: We use Netlify (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Serpapi (flight price data). These providers access only the data necessary to provide their services.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Bread and its users.

Google API limited use disclosure

Bread's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only request Gmail read access to search for airline confirmation emails
• We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements
• We do not allow humans to read your Gmail data unless you explicitly give permission or it is required for security purposes
• We do not use or transfer your data for purposes unrelated to providing and improving Bread's flight price monitoring service

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can disconnect Bread from your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page and revoking Bread's access. To delete your Bread account and all data, email support@savebread.ai.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of Bread after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
