Bread is a service that monitors your flight and hotel prices after you book, and automatically gets you a lower rate if one becomes available — no cancellations, no hassle.

Connect your Gmail once. Bread scans for flight and hotel booking confirmation emails and starts monitoring prices automatically.

For flights, we check every 30 minutes and contact the airline if the price drops. For hotels, we check every 6 hours until your check-in date — if the rate drops, we update your existing reservation in place or rebook you at the lower rate (booking the new one first so you're never without a room).

Yes. Bread monitors hotel prices for Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG — plus 30+ brands like Westin, Sheraton, DoubleTree, Hampton Inn, Park Hyatt, and Holiday Inn.

When the rate drops on the chain's own website, we update your booking automatically. For Marriott and Hyatt bookings, we can also submit a Best Rate Guarantee claim when a competing site like Booking.com has a lower rate — Marriott's BRG matches the lower price and takes an additional 25% off on top.

Flexible (free cancellation) bookings get the most benefit. Non-refundable rates are monitored for BRG opportunities only.

Right now Bread is completely free — we're in beta. We'll roll out paid options once the beta is over, and we'll give existing users plenty of notice before anything changes.

Yes. The only permission you grant is to read your Gmail — Bread cannot write, send, or delete anything. Our software looks only for emails from specific airline and hotel senders with specific subjects like "Your Booking Confirmation." We never read anything else, ever.

Bread detects the new confirmation or cancellation email automatically and updates your dashboard — no action needed on your part. If a flight or hotel booking is cancelled, we stop monitoring it.

No. For flights, you keep the same flight, same seats, same itinerary — we simply get the price adjusted. For hotels, you keep the same hotel, same room, same dates. The only thing that changes is how much you paid.
